This is yet another personal blog, but only because this is my first foray into this medium (I know, I'm a little late). I'll be writing and posting entries that contain all kinds of things, including information that I might not want my friends and family to know about. Secret things that I'm a bit ashamed of. But then, I've been of the opinion until only recently that keeping a personal blog and/or writing confessional type pieces about my personal life was a bit like masturbation - something you do when you're alone, mostly. Something that is only a poor substitute for the real thing at best, and really sad and empty if it's the only, ahem, way you do it.
But then, many of the assumptions I've made have lately fallen under scrutiny. I'm having to reexamine things I've taken for granted. I've had certain life situations and circumstances change, and as a result I'm going through a process of reawakening and personal reinvention.
Therefore, this blog is going to contain a little of everything, genre-wise. I'll be posting things that catch my interest, providing thoughts and commentary, and revealing things that I'm working through.
